The German Embassy in Georgia announced on Facebook that Georgian wine is gaining growing popularity in Germany.
“In 2024, 1.28 million liters of Georgian wine — roughly 6 million glasses — were exported to Germany, a sevenfold increase over the past decade. Germans and Georgians share many things in common, including a love for wine, so it is not surprising that Georgian wine is becoming ever more popular. We welcome this remarkable progress,” the Embassy stated.
