Customers have been pictured lining up beneath Glasgow Central Station as Blue Lagoon rolled back its menu to 1975 prices, but only for today.

We previously reported that the popular Argyle Street takeaway is serving fish suppers for under £2 and bags of chips for less than £1 today.

The promotion, which began at 9am, will run until 7pm.

The price is truly staggering, as a fish supper today from the chippy would normally set you back £7.95, while a bag of chips would cost £4.20.

Pictures captured by the Glasgow Times show a long line of foodies stretching outside the shop as customers rush to snap up the bargain meals.

Blue Lagoon announced the deal earlier this month in a video, saying: “1975 prices in 2025??? Blue Lagoon is offering our 1975 prices for one day only to celebrate our 50th anniversary!”
