Wrexham have brought in significant attacking firepower this summer as Phil Parkinson looks to compete in the Championship.
2025 has brought major changes to Wrexham’s attacking ranks.
Sam Smith joined Wrexham in a club-record deal back in January, joining on the same day as veteran forward Jay Rodriguez.
The summer brought one difficult exit, as Paul Mullin was sent to Wigan Athletic after slipping down Phil Parkinson’s pecking order.
Parkinson has revamped his options, with Ryan Hardie becoming Wrexham’s first summer signing before Josh Windass arrived on a free transfer.
Wrexham then snapped up Kieffer Moore and Nathan Broadhead completed a club-record move from Ipswich Town, meaning four new attackers have joined this summer.

Wrexham have been linked with many other strikers this summer, including Danny Ings.
West Ham United released Ings at the end of last season, and the former England forward remains a free agent.
Wrexham spoke to Ings about a potential move to the STōK Cae Ras early in the summer, but nothing came of that initial interest.
Watford also looked at Ings, before Middlesbrough appeared to have a deal in place for Ings in July.
That deal collapsed, meaning Ings has started the new season without a club, which will have surprised many.
Wrexham appear to have moved on, but reports from the Sheffield Star now claim that Ings has joined Sheffield United on trial.
Ings and fellow former Southampton ace Nathan Redmond have both linked up with the struggling Blades in an attempt to win a contract.
Sheffield United sit rock bottom of the Championship table, losing all three of their games while scoring just once and conceding six times.
The pressure is already mounting on new boss Ruben Selles, and he may hope to bring in veteran attacker Ings to aid his goalscoring hopes.
More changes may come in Wrexham’s attack
We really can’t see Wrexham going back in for Ings any time soon, but more changes could still come.
Ollie Palmer has been made available and could leave Wrexham after a lack of significant playing time in 2025.
The target man will forever be a Wrexham hero, but League One and League Two clubs are bound to be interested and would give him first-team minutes.
Jack Marriott has been linked to Reading as well, meaning Wrexham could offload two more strikers before the transfer window closes.
Parkinson may still have one eye on the striking market, especially with Jay Rodriguez out injured, but Wrexham’s interest in Ings appears to have faded away.
