Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show, often the subject of criticism, is back on Netflix for a second season, ready to stir the pot once again.
The second installment of With Love, Meghan, premiered on the streaming platform this morning. The series picks up where it left off, with Meghan sharing tips on cooking, crafting, and hosting, alongside a variety of friends and experts.
This season’s star-studded guest list includes American model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen, Queer Eye’s Tan France, podcaster Jay Shetty, and his cookbook author wife Radhi Devlukia. The show’s comeback follows Meghan and Prince Harry’s announcement of a new, more modest deal with the streaming giant, a far cry from their reported $100 million contract five years ago.

As fans prepare to dissect every detail of the series, we delve into the new episodes, which feature a quick cameo from a top-tier singer, a biting joke about Meghan’s former TV show, and more peeks into Meghan’s home life.

Despite being Meghan’s show, her husband, Prince Harry, did make a brief appearance in the final episode of the first season of With Love, Meghan.
He pops up during the last 10 minutes when he arrives at a garden brunch Meghan hosts for her family, including mom Doria, and friends. She introduces Harry to the camera at the brunch gathering, and he gives an awkward wave.
Despite being a key figure in the latest season of the show, Prince Harry doesn’t make an appearance at all. The only glimpses we get of him are through photographs, like one featuring him and Meghan with Clare Smyth, who appears in the sixth episode of the current season.
Meghan does talk about Harry on the show, sharing with Queer Eye’s Tan France that Harry was the first to say “I love you” during their third date in Botswana.
In the seventh episode, while packing for a trip, Meghan shows off a navy baseball cap with ‘PH 40’ written on it, explaining that she had it made for Harry and his friends for his 40th birthday.
A-lister friendships
While Harry doesn’t appear on screen as much as fans may have wanted, viewers are treated to two cameo appearances from another very famous spouse.
In the second episode, Meghan invites model Chrissy Teigen over to make crackers and floral jewelry. They reveal that they first met when they both worked as briefcase girls on the US version of Deal or No Deal.

When Chrissy Teigen arrived at Meghan Markle’s rented farmhouse, her husband, Grammy award-winning singer John Legend, made a surprise appearance on camera. Meghan greeted him with the words, “I would have told H to come.”
John Legend also showed up at the end of the episode to taste the cheesy crackers that the duo had prepared, with Meghan thanking him for his patience: “Thanks for being so patient.”
Birthday mishap
During the same episode, Meghan and Chrissy collected flowers from the garden, choosing blooms that corresponded to their children’s birth months for use in jewelry-making.
However, Chrissy admitted she needed to check her kids’ birthdays and showed Meghan her arm tattoo featuring her children’s birth dates because she couldn’t remember them. Despite having the tattoo as a reference, she was unsure about her son Miles’ birthday, not knowing whether it was May 16 or 18.
Luckily, her off-camera husband, John, came to her aid, confirming that their eldest son was born on May 16, 2018. Meghan joked: “You’ve got a husband and a tattoo to make you stay on top of all the things.”

In the third episode of the new season, Meghan joined forces with Queer Eye star Tan France. They cooked French toast and made miniature cooking aprons for their little ones.
After preparing their French toast, Meghan tops the dish with fresh fruit, a dusting of powdered sugar, and her signature floral sprinkles from her As Ever product line.
As she adds the floral touch, Tan curiously asks, “What was that you just added?” To which Meghan replies: “Flower sprinkles, I love them.”
Tan then playfully comments, “Wow, that’s the gayest s— I’ve seen in a long time”, causing both of them to burst into laughter. Meghan then tells him, “But I really like things to look beautiful.”

In another part of season two, Meghan reveals how being away from her children for nearly three weeks left her feeling “not well”.
She doesn’t give specific dates, but it seems she’s referring to when the Sussexes unexpectedly extended their stay in the UK due to Queen Elizabeth II’s passing in 2022.
Meghan talks about what she misses most about the UK, confesses she isn’t fond of baking, and recalls making a “truly terrible” roast chicken the night Harry proposed.
The former Suits star sympathizes with Tan, who admits he feels heartbroken if he’s away from his two young children for more than a few days.
A thoughtful Meghan responds, nodding and looking up at the ceiling, “Oh I know. The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks.” She adds, after a pause, “…not well.”
In his memoir, Spare, the Duke detailed the “difficult days” following Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, describing how he and Meghan were separated from their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for “longer than we’d ever been.”
Upon reuniting in California, they spent “days and days hugging the children, never letting them out of our sight”.
The Royal family was dealing with the death of the nation’s longest-serving monarch, Elizabeth II, in September 2022, amid a tense relationship with Harry and Meghan.
Friendship revelation.
Meanwhile, episode seven includes a playful moment during a girls’ getaway to Malibu with Meghan and her pal Heather Dorak.
The episode is devoted to those who fought the California wildfires earlier in the year. During the trip, they discover how to craft a 50/50 martini from cocktail expert Payman Bahmani-Bailey.
When Meghan inquires how he entered mixology, he answers: “I used to be a lawyer in New York”. Meghan then asks, “Did you watch Suits?”
He chuckles and responds, “No, no, I don’t watch basic cable”, noting that he favors shows with profanity.
What she longs for from the UK.
Meghan doesn’t explicitly reference her period as a working royal, but she does talk about her life in the UK on multiple occasions. She discusses the differences in herb names between the UK and US with London-based chef Clare Smyth.
In a chat with Tan, who hails from Doncaster, Meghan reveals what she misses most about life in the UK – its radio stations.
She confesses to him, “Honestly, what I miss most about the UK, the radio stations, Magic.” Tan retorts, “Magic FM? Wow. Sorry to say this to you so publicly, but that’s such a grandma station.”
To which Meghan responds, “I’ll be that grandma!”
With Love, Meghan season two is now available for streaming on Netflix.
