The Super League attendances for round 23 are in, with Leeds Rhinos recording the biggest number of the weekend. The Rhinos saw 16,260 at Headingley on Thursday night, with Brad Arthur’s side running out 28-6 winners over league leaders Hull KR.
Elsewhere, Wigan Warriors recorded an attendance of 13,932 for their clash against Wakefield Trinity on Sunday afternoon – their lowest figure of the year. Wigan saw Bevan French return to the side having recovered from a calf injury. They ran out 44-2 winners at the Brick Community Stadium after Leeds and then St Helens had briefly taken second spot in the table.
Over at St Helens, 12,005 were at the Totally Wicked Stadium as the Saints saw off a resilient Hull FC side 16-10 on Friday night. The victory sees the Red V take the Steve Prescott Cup once again.
Also on Friday night, Leigh Leopards saw 7,826 watch their comfortable win over Salford Red Devils at Leigh Sports Village. The Red Devils lead the game 6-0 after scoring the first try before 38 unanswered points followed.
In the South of France, 7,269 saw Catalans Dragons hammer Castleford Tigers 38-4 on Saturday evening. The result keeps the French side in ninth place in Super League.
And in West Yorkshire, just 3,941 saw Huddersfield Giants produce a late comeback win to defeat Warrington Wolves 23-10 on Saturday afternoon.
