Katie Boulter will be looking to rediscover some form when she plays her US Open first round match on Tuesday.
The British star, who showcased her immense talent by defeating former world number two Paula Badosa at Wimbledon, faces 27th seed Marta Kostyuk in the US Open first round.
Boulter has struggled for form since defeating Badosa, picking up only one singles match victory in six attempts.
After losing to Solana Sierra in the Wimbledon second round, Boulter lost in the first round of the Washington Open, Canadian Open and Cincinnati Open.

Most recently, the Brit defeated China’s Yue Yuan at the Cleveland Championships, before losing to Viktorija Golubic.
However, the 29-year-old’s fortune could be about to change, after Madison Keys’ shock exit in the US Open first round.
Katie Boulter has the opportunity to reach a Grand Slam fourth round for the first time in her career
The US Open draw has opened up for Katie Boulter.
Madison Keys’ shock exit at the hands of Renata Zarazua has left a gaping hole in Boulter’s section of the draw.
The American’s loss has presented a big opportunity for Boulter to make the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time in her career.
Boulter’s first-round opponent, 27th seed Marta Kostyuk, is the only seeded player left in Boulter’s section of the draw, up until the fourth round stage.

If Boulter can navigate her way past Kostyuk, she will face world number 81 Zeynep Sonmez in the US Open second round.
The other second round match in Boulter’s section will see two other unseeded players do battle: Renata Zarazua and Diane Parry.
If Boulter were to reach the fourth round, the highest possible seed she could face is 11th seed Karolina Muchova.
Katie Boulter’s San Diego Open final victory over Marta Kostyuk
Katie Boulter has a prior history of success against her US Open first-round opponent.
The pair have met just once before on the WTA Tour: in the final of the 2024 San Diego Open. In that match, Boulter claimed victory, winning 5-7 6-2 6-2.
Ahead of their clash at the 2025 US Open, Kostyuk has enjoyed a period of relative success: the Ukrainian reached the Canadian Open quarter-finals.
However, the Ukrainian was forced to retire due to a wrist injury, and subsequently withdrew from the Cincinnati Open.
