A top shelf field has been assembled to clash in Victoria’s first Group 1 of the 2025/26 season at Caulfield on Saturday.
Eleven runners have been declared for the $750,000 Memsie Stakes (1400m).

Victoria’s top weight-for-age galloper, 2023 Memsie winner Mr Brightside will carry the number one saddlecloth while All Star Mile winner Tom Kitten, now with Anthony and Sam Freedman and Queensland’s best galloper Antino, also line up in the star-studded contest.
Last season’s star three-year-old Treasurethe Moment gets her first taste of open company racing and can she follow in the footsteps of Aeliana last week when she finished second to Via Sistina in the Winx Stakes under weight-for-age conditions?
Sydney mare Fangirl bypassed the Winx Stakes due to the heavy track but the forecast indicates she may still have to contend with a wet track with rainfall predicted in the lead up to Saturday.
Victoria’s leading stable of Ciaron Maher will be represented by Another Wil and Zardozi, another former James Cummings-trained galloper while last year’s Memsie winner Pinstriped defends his title.

The Caulfield track was rated a good (4) at acceptance time. The rail will be in the true position on Saturday.
Saturday’s 10-race program commences at 12.05pm with the final event to be run at 5.20pm.
