British Transport Police have released an image of a man who may be able to help with their enquiries into an incident on a train between Edinburgh and Montrose.
The unspecified incident occurred at or just beyond Dundee railway station between 2.30pm and 6pm on Friday 25 April 2025 onboard a train service terminating at Aberdeen.
The man is described as white in his late 40s or early 50s, slim build and around 5ft7 with long greying-blond hair tied in a ponytail. He is believed to have alighted the train at Montrose.
He was wearing a light grey baseball cap, a dark coloured jacket over a grey jumper, black jeans and light boots. He was also carrying a large white suitcase and a dark backpack.
Detectives are appealing for the man pictured, or anyone who knows him, to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 573 of 25 April.
