Prince Harry has been comfortably residing in the shadow of Meghan Markle for some time, according to a royal expert. The expert suggests that this benefits on Harry as he looks to repair frayed family relations.

However, with an upcoming meeting with King Charles on the horizon, it seems it’s time for Harry to step back into the limelight.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Express US, Pauline Maclaran, co-author of Royal Fever and Professor at Royal Holloway, discussed the dynamic between Harry and Meghan and how it could potentially benefit the Duke in his quest for a royal reconciliation.

Maclaran said: “I think Meghan’s second season has put the focus on her rather than Harry at present, although I also think she has been overshadowing him for quite a while now.”

She further added: “We seem to hear less and less about him and lots about her jam and flower sprinkles!”

Maclaran believes that both the King and Harry feel it’s time for a meeting, predicting that both “will be nervous about how things will evolve.”

“There is much to mend and the King will be very mindful that whatever he says to Harry privately,” Maclaran added.
