A Glasgow restaurant has been shortlisted as a Scottish finalist for the 2025 Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Awards.
YAYAS, which opened its doors in 2019, is set to represent Scotland in the national finals in London this September.
The restaurant has rapidly gained a loyal customer base, resulting in an expansion to three locations across the city.
A spokesperson for YAYAS, the only finalist from Scotland, said: “We are honoured to be invited to the finals.
“We have been working incredibly hard and feel privileged to be recognised as number one in Scotland. Now we still have to do the hard work – be number one in the UK.”

The Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Awards aims to recognise the “innovation, resilience and impact” of the UK’s most exciting food businesses.
Selected from more than 130 nominated eateries, YAYAS will compete against 11 other regional finalists for the title of Restaurant of the Year and a prize of £100,000 to invest in their business.
Matthew Price, general manager of Uber Eats UK, Ireland and Northern Europe, said: “Independent restaurants are the beating heart of the UK and Ireland’s food scene.
“Whether it’s your local burger joint, a climate-conscious vegan cafe or a TikTok-famous pop-up, Uber Eats is proud to support the businesses that bring flavour, jobs and culture to our communities.
“The Restaurant of the Year Awards are about more than a prize.
“They’re about championing those who are reshaping hospitality from the ground up and helping them accelerate their growth.”
