TBR Football understands that Tottenham Hotspur’s move for Manchester City forward Savinho is not completely dead just yet.
Thomas Frank is hoping to add another attacker to his squad before Monday’s transfer deadline, and the Brazilian remains on the North London club’s radar.
Spurs are refusing to give up on their pursuit of the 21-year-old, and TBR Football sources believe this is a deal to look out for ahead of the deadline.
Pep Guardiola has been blocking him from leaving, but as TBR Football reported on Thursday, Savinho is not happy at City for preventing the move to North London.
Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth will have only reaffirmed their desire to add to their front line, as they managed just five attempts to the Cherries’ 19.
New signing Xavi Simons was introduced to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before the game, and the Lilywhites believe they can still sign his former PSV Eindhoven teammate, Savinho.

But despite Tottenham’s belief that they can land Savinho, alternative options are still being worked on in case a deal cannot be agreed, TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, understands.
Speaking about the situation, Bailey told TBR Football: “Spurs love Savinho and are not letting this go, am told to keep an eye on this – it is not dead in the water yet.”
The Brazilian international is clearly keen to make the switch, and his desire could yet make the deal possible, but Spurs will need to be careful with less than 48 hours remaining to sign a left winger.
Randal Kolo Muani remains a target for Tottenham, given that his move to Juventus still has not gone through, and PSG remain keen to offload him.
Spurs have maintained a watching brief on Kolo Muani’s situation as PSG and Juventus have still not agreed on a loan deal – that is one to keep an eye on.
The Frenchman could be the perfect option for Spurs, given that he can play out on the left but also in the number nine role.
Frank says Tottenham won’t sign another striker, but that would be a huge risk with Dominic Solanke picking up another injury and Richarlison’s poor injury history.
Ademola Lookman left out of Atalanta’s squad vs Parma
Tottenham target Ademola Lookman was left out of Atalanta’s squad for their 1-1 draw with Parma as he continues to seek a move away.
TBR Football revealed last week that Lookman offered himself to Tottenham after his move to Inter Milan fell apart.
Inter were unwilling to pay over £43 million to get the deal done, and now the winger has been speaking to several Premier League clubs about a move.
Tottenham fans urged the club to sign Lookman following their defeat against Bournemouth, with Brennan Johnson having a tough afternoon.
