Edinburgh cyclist Lauren Dickson, 25, has signed a two year deal with crack professional team TDJ-Suez and she will compete on next year’s world tour for the French outfit.

Lauren joins from Handsling-Alba having made remarkable progress with them in little more than a year.

Highlights which clearly caught the eye of her new team include finishing thir in the Tour of Norway, seventh in the Tour de Feminis and a creditable debut in the Tour of Britain in June.

After paying tribute to the Handsling-Alba team which gave her a big chance, Lauren said:

“Looking forwards I endeavour to give my all and continue learning and progressing with FDJ-Suez. My long term ambitions are to race the Grand Tours but next year I want to focus on perfecting race raft and doing my best for our leaders.”

Former triathlete Lauren only entered her first road race in April, 2024 and quickly progressed. finishing second in the final National Road Race series at Ryedale and becoming Scottish Hill Climb champion.

She is based in Girona, Spain.
