Leeds United didn’t spend a penny on deadline day after Daniel Farke effectively begged for more attacking reinforcements.

As Leeds fans sat in anticipation to welcome a new arrival to Elland Road, the only confirmed transfer news they had to stomach was Darko Gyabi’s permanent move to Hull City.

Leeds fans have pointed the finger at Adam Underwood, while others have put the blame at Paraag Marathe’s doorstep.

Although the window did not end in the manner United supporters hoped, promising players like Anton Stach and Jaka Bijol have still arrived at Elland Road.

So, following the ten new additions the 49ers Enterprises have made over the summer, MOT Leeds News reveals the total value of Farke’s Leeds United squad as he attempts to keep them in the Premier League.

With Robbie Evans confirming Leeds have maxed out their PSR, the squad that has been put together in West Yorkshire was always unlikely to receive wholesale changes on deadline day.

This makes Farke’s plea for one or two more attackers seem strange, as surely he would know his requests weren’t going to be financed by 49ers Enterprises.

Nevertheless, the German manager has a squad that is valued at just over £257million at his disposal, according to Transfermarkt.

Whether that is enough to keep the Whites in the top flight remains to be seen, but there are no doubts that the squad certainly looks a lot different to the one that lifted the Championship title last season.

Leeds’ £257m squad is ranked as the 18th most valuable in the Premier League, with only Sunderland and Burnley having less resources at their disposal.

The closest established Premier League side to Leeds is Wolves, with their squad worth £287.7million, which is £30.7million more than the Whites.

The gap continues to grow even further, with Arsenal boasting the most expensive squad at around £1.2billion, showing you how vast the gap is between the bottom and upper echelon of the Premier League.
