Meghan Markle pays subtle tribute to project she axed for royal life

Meghan Markle is looking back at the life she left behind.

On September 1, the Duchess of Sussex shared behind-the-scenes photos from filming season two of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan. Tucked into the carousel was a playlist she made for the shoot, which featured track 17: The Frim Fram Sauce by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.

The song choice caught attention as a subtle nod to her long-closed lifestyle blog, The Tig; the company behind the project was Frim Fram Inc.

“Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music. Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation!” the 44-year-old wrote in the caption.

From 2014 to 2017, the former Suits actress ran The Tig as a passion project, sharing everything from recipes to reflections on feminism.

She shut it down ahead of her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, marking her official step into royal life. Fans have since clung to the idea of a revival, especially as hints continue to surface.

Earlier this year, Meghan posted a “memory lane” vision board that included images from her Tig days, complete with the blog’s signature font and quotes like, “Stay close to people who feel like sunshine.”
