Kate Middleton reminds fans of Meghan Markle’s iconic moment
Prince William and Kate Middleton got caught in the rain as they returned to royal duties on Thursday, September 4, after spending their fun-filled Summer holidays with King Charles and other royals at Balmoral.
The Prince and Princess of Wales appeared in good spirits as they ended their seven-week hiatus from the public eye, reminding fans of Meghan and Harry’s iconic moments under the umbrella.
Kate and Meghan, who are said to be each other’s throats on some issues due to their husbands’ feud, flaunt almost similar fashion senses in their most dazzling moments. The two royal wives are loved by their fans for their dynamic personalities and trendsetting styling senses.
During her first outing to the Natural History Museum in London to see the newly transformed gardens, Kate seemingly gave Meghan’s vibe in chic outfit with umbrella. The appearance also gave a closer look at Kate’s new hairstyle.
After learning about how the gardens serve as a living laboratory, the royal couple joined schoolchildren using the space as an outdoor classroom.
Princess Catherine and her husband had to bring out the umbrellas when they got caught in rain. The couple and the students were seen huddling together to hide from the downpour.
However, Kate’s stunning look reminds fans of Meghan’s iconic moment with Harry when the Duchess held an umbrella for the Duke of Sussex while he braved the rain and gave a speech at Victoria Park in Australia’s Dubbo during their time with the royal family.
Kate looked stunning in a blazer over a white button-down shirt with black slacks and loafers for the outing, accessorizing with a necklace featuring the initials of her three children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
Students from Lewisham participated in a pond dipping session, and they also met children from Manchester who created new habitats on their school grounds through the National Education Nature Park program.
The engagement was likely especially of interest to Kate, who is the royal patron of the Natural History Museum and previously learned about the early stages of development for the Urban Nature Project during a 2021 visit.
She has also spoken openly about her passion for the outdoors, especially amid her recent cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
