A man has been charged with multiple driving offences after a police pursuit through Bristol.
Bryan Smith, aged 47 and of no fixed address, was arrested on Tuesday, September 2 after the chase ended in Ledbury Road.
He was due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 4 after the Crown Prosecution Service authorised charges.
Smith has been charged with:
- Dangerous driving
- Failing to provide a specimen for analysis
- Driving without insurance
- Driving while disqualified
Avon and Somerset Police officers also recovered a stolen vehicle during the chase.
A second man and a woman, both aged in their 40s, were also arrested during the incident.
They were released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
