Christian Eriksen has been filmed training with Malmo after leaving Manchester United this summer. The Danish midfielder is a free agent this summer following the end of his contract with United.
The 33-year-old joined the Reds in 2022 on a free transfer after stints with Inter Milan and Brentford, having initially left Tottenham Hotspur in January 2020.
During his three-year tenure at Old Trafford, Eriksen made just over 100 appearances, netting eight goals and providing 19 assists. He also helped the club secure the Carabao Cup and FA Cup in 2023 and 2024 respectively.
Following the conclusion of his contract in July, Wrexham reportedly made a surprise move for the seasoned midfielder. According to the Daily Mail, the Welsh club, who have secured three consecutive promotions and are competing in the Championship this season, made an unexpected approach for Eriksen.
However, it is said that the Dane turned them down and he still remains without a club. Now, Eriksen has been filmed training with Malmo in a video shot by Swedish journalist Johan Dolck Wall.

When asked in June about his future, he told TV 2 Sport: “Right now, there is nothing. There is interest all around, but there is nothing that I am close to signing.
“My focus will be to play international matches and then have a good summer holiday. It’s been a great place for me and my family, and we’ve been there for many years.
“When I moved from Tottenham to Inter, it wasn’t the plan for me to go back to England. I’ve been there for three and a half years again since then, so you can never say never, but the priority is for me to leave.”
