One of Europe’s oldest charter fairs is set to return to Neath, in what has long been regarded as one of the town’s staple events.
The Great Neath Fair is a highlight of the borough’s annual calendar and has been running for nearly 700 years, almost without a break. Its origins date back to a charter granted in 1280 by the Marcher Lord and Paramount of Gloucester, Gilbert de Clare. Drawing traders from across the UK and Europe, the town centre will once again come alive with over 100 stalls. Stay informed on everything Neath Port Talbot by signing up to our newsletter here
