An ambulance and a paramedic car were called to Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre, near Thetford, at around 5.45pm on Thursday.
The ambulance service asked Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service to assist in case the canoeist needed to be extricated from the boat, but this was not necessary.
She was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and care.
