Norwegian referee Espen Eskås will lead a group of six officials for the match in Köln on Sunday evening.

Norwegian referee Espen Eskås has been announced as the main official for the Germany – Northern Ireland match on Sunday (20:45 CET) in Köln.

Jan Erik Engan and Anders Olav Dale are the assistant referees, and on the touchline will be Sigurd Kringstad. All four officials on the ground are from Norway.

The video assistant referee will be Italian official Marco Di Bello, and his assistant is Norwegian, Tom Harald Hagen.

37-year-old Eskås has officiated one match involving Germany in his career, that being a 2-1 victory for the national team against the Netherlands in a friendly in March 2024.
