Justin Thomas is an investor in Leeds United and popular golf caddy Billy Foster has teased him in a recent social media interaction.
Leeds United have ties to the world of golf following the fact Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth have Leeds interest, although Rory McIlroy chose not to invest in Leeds like the others.
Many other American investors have come together to support the Whites’ project with the 49ers. The likes of Spieth and Thomas are just two of many, with Larry Nance Jr being the most notable name mostly linked with the club.
The basketball player is known to be vocal regarding various views on the club, with Nance Jr suggesting he’d bring Marcelo Bielsa back, and Thomas wants to be more involved with the club this season.

Thomas has expressed his frustration at not being able to watch Farke’s side, naming the ‘unfortunate’ circumstance of why he can’t visit Elland Road. Previously, golfing icon Thomas stated on Leeds: “I’d like to.
“Some of the guys are giving me a hard time, that of course, now they’re in the Premier League, now I’m going to make my way over.
“But it’s unfortunate that they’re not playing during kind of this, it would be great during the Scottish or The Open to either go before or stay after.
“Then, last year, with having a baby, it made the fall just a slightly tough ask on my end. We’ve wanted to, so hopefully we can make it work by the end of this year.”

With the Ryder Cup just weeks away, Leeds’ investor is gearing towards one of golf’s premiere events of the year. The former World No.1 boasts a solid 7-4-2 record at the Ryder Cup, including 3-0-0 in singles matches.
Billy Foster has reacted to Thomas’ recent Instagram post, with Thomas’ daughter using a plunger on his head.
He said: “Have you been head butting the kitchen work tops after watching Leeds getting beat at Arsenal 💙💛… 👍🤪”

Will Ferrell, who is also an investor, seems to be very invested in this project as well, with Ferrell stating American investment is ‘catching up’, which could bring more new faces to explore the ambitious ongoings at Elland Road.
Ferrell is one famous face involved with Leeds via the 49ers and a minority stake. He is joined by fellow actor and Leeds fan Russell Crowe, as well as golf champions Spieth and Thomas.
Others alongside Nance Jr, include Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps. Russell Westbrook: is an NBA All-Star but is yet another who is a minority investor.
It’s exciting for Leeds, if they can make Premier League football stick this year under the 49ers.
