Global tech company Iliad Solutions has leased the sixth floor on a 10-year term, with CBRE acting for Catella APAM on behalf of Danish pension fund Britannia Invest.

Iliad is taking 5,854 sq ft in the grade A office building, which sits in front of Leeds train station and next to the city’s professional district.

It follows hot on the heels of intellectual property firm HGF securing a 10-year lease on the fourth floor of the building in July.

Chalwe Silwizya, senior asset manager at Catella APAM, commented: “This letting underscores the building’s strong appeal to global occupiers and reflects continued tenant demand for high-quality, grade A office space, as the ‘flight to quality’ trend continues to drive market activity.”

Clair McGowan, director at CBRE, said: “This deal underscores the enduring demand for top-tier office space in Leeds, and 1 City Square continues to set the standard for quality and location in the city.”
