Four years after last playing James Bond, actor Daniel Craig has debuted a brand new look, and it’s safe to say he’s looking very different from his spy days. The 57-year-old attended Variety Studio with his Knives Out co-stars Mila Kunis and Andrew Scott and was seen sporting a new avatar.

Daniel showed off his silver swept back hairstyle at the annual event as he looked smart in a pair of cropped denim jeans, blue t-shirt, black jacket and white trainers at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival.

His new hairstyle looked different to what fans are used to seeing, with it no longer being Bond’s signature dark, short back and sides.

The Hollywood star first took on the iconic role in 2006 in Casino Royale, before returning for Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre and 2021’s No Time To Die, which he also co-produced.

Opening up last year about why he quit the iconic franchise, Daniel told The Sun on Sunday: “Early on with Bond I thought I had to do other work, but I didn’t. I was becoming a star, whatever that means, and people wanted me in their films. Incredible.

“Most actors are out of work for large chunks, so you take your job offers, but they left me empty. Then, bottom line, I got paid.

“I was so exhausted at the end of a Bond that it would take me six months to recover emotionally. I always had the attitude that life must come first, and when work came first for a while, it strung me out.”

Earlier this week, the first look of Wake Up Dead Man, the third film in the Knives Out franchise, was released as Netflix unveiled the release date.

Daniel is returning to reprise his role as Benoit Blanc, and aside from Mila and Andrew, he will be joined by The Crown’s Josh O’Connor, Fatal Attraction’s Glenn Close, No Country for Old Men’s Josh Brolin, Marvel star Jeremy Renner and Scandal’s Kerry Washington.

The new film sees Benoit head to a small hamlet in New York where he meets young priest Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor), who is assisting local priest Monsignor Jefferson Wicks (Josh Brolin).

“After a seemingly impossible murder rocks the town, local police chief Geraldine Scott (Mila Kunis) joins forces with Blanc to unravel a mystery that pushes the boundaries of both faith and reason,” Netflix teases.

Daniel Craig told Netflix ahead of the film’s release: “What Rian’s movies do best is subvert the genre. You start off thinking you’re watching an old-fashioned sort of Agatha Christie-type mystery — but then it shifts, and you realize you’re watching something entirely different.”

Wake Up Dead Man is set to arrive in cinemas first on 28th November before landing on Netflix just weeks later. Netflix subscribers will have to wait until December 12 to watch the film on the streamer.

The film poster sees Daniel Craig’s Benoit looking into a grave as the rest of the cast peer in. This time, Daniel is sporting a different look as the detective with longer hair. In two of the first-look images, we see Daniel in scenes with Josh O’Connor, who plays priest Jud Duplenticy in the movie.
