Ed Sheeran is coming to Manchester in December as part of his UK and Europe Play Tour.
It comes after the release of his new album Play, which is being released on Friday, September 12, and the tour will see him visit five UK cities in December 2025.
The upcoming tour marks an opportunity for fans to see the Shape Of You singer in smaller and more intimate venues in comparison to the stadiums he has been performing at in recent years.

Ed Sheeran, known for hits A-Team, Lego House, Shivers, Photograph, is going to kick off his tour in Paris on December 1 with one night at the Zenith, followed by Munich’s Olympiahalle on December 3, then he reaches the UK for one night at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Manchester’s Co-Op Live on December 7, to finish up in Dublin at the 3Arena on December 9.
There is a presale taking place on Tuesday, September 9, for fans who pre-ordered his new album Play, followed by a general sale on Thursday, September 11.
Play is the latest in his mathematics albums, which started with Plus in 2011, followed by Multiply in 2014, then Divide in 2018, Equals in 2021, Subtract in 2023 and now Play to be released in 2025.
The singer-songwriter, from Ipswich, will visit the Manchester Co-Op Live arena on December 7, 2025, with tickets going on sale this week.
Manchester Co-Op Live Arena was built in 2024 and opened for its first gig on May 14, after a delay and some cancelled shows due to the venue not being ready.

Co-op Live’s capacity for shows is 23,500. The newly-built arena features the largest floor space of any indoor venue and tiered seating.
