Manchester United loanee Rasmus Hojlund has sent his support to Ayden Heaven after the centre-back shared a cryptic post of boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Heaven has found game time hard to come by so far this season having only made a three minute cameo in the Premier League away at Fulham. When the Englishman joined in January, he was thrust straight into the spotlight of the first-team as injuries forced Ruben Amorim into playing the teenager.

The former Arsenal man is still a firm member of the first-team squad but could lose his place on the bench once Lisandro Martinez returns from injury. With Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw’s long-term futures most likely away from United, this may well be just a temporary setback for the promising defender.

During the September international break, Heaven was called up to the England U20s squad which hosted Italy at Chesterfield’s SMH Group Stadium. The defender played 65 minutes in North Derbyshire before being replaced in the 2-1 friendly defeat.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.

Now back with United at Carrington, the 18-year-old shared a few images from his time with the England set-up before ending the post with an image of Tyson sitting in his dressing room with his trainer Cus D’Amato watching over him. The reason behind including Tyson in the post is unclear but a number of United players responded to the post.

Captain Bruno Fernandes, Matthijs de Ligt, Patrick Dorgu and Leny Yoro were among the United players to ‘like’ the post while Hojlund simply replied: “Cool,” in the comments section. The striker is currently on loan at Napoli after agreeing a summer transfer deadline day exit to the Italian club.

After Benjamin Sesko was bought from RB Leipzig, it became clear that Hojlund’s game time was going to become seriously impacted. Once Italian clubs started to show interest, the Dane leaned towards Napoli as they offered him long-term certainty.

Hojlund has joined Napoli on loan but will make his switch permanent for £38m should certain conditions be met this season. As for Heaven, he will be hopeful of a place in the United squad on Sunday when they travel to Manchester City.
