Gorillaz are bringing their new arena tour to Liverpool. The virtual band will perform at the M&S Bank Arena on Sunday, March 29 as part of their The Mountain Tour.
The band, consisting of musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, will be performing tracks from their upcoming album The Mountain.
Formed in 1998, the project features four fictional, animated members and a complex backstory that unfolds through music videos, comics, and other media. Albarn is the permanent musical contributor, and the project frequently collaborates with a wide range of guest musicians.
The band have sold over 38 million equivalent albums worldwide and are known for a range of hits including “Feel Good Inc.”, “Clint Eastwood”, “DARE”, and “On Melancholy Hill”.
