The Princess of Wales has one of the most exquisite jewellery collections in the world – but we’ve noticed one pair of simple gold pearl hoops that she wears on repeat.

The 43-year-old royal first debuted the Cha Cha earrings by Maria Black during a visit to Denmark in February 2022, and has worn the earrings on over half a dozen public occasions since. The design features a pearl hung from a geometric gold hoop.

Maria Black is a trendy Danish jewellery brand known for its pared-back and sculptural designs. The Cha Cha is sold as a single earring, priced at £152, costing £304 for a pair. You can currently get the exact earrings for half price at Flannels, but you will need to be quick as they are selling fast.

The Daily Express has found a similar design by Maria Black as well as a list of top alternatives from royal-approved brands loved by Kate, including Missoma, Monica Vinader and Astrid & Miyu.

If you are after a Maria Black pearl pair, try the Peblinge huggies. The freshwater pearl hangs from a string of organically shaped loops, making for an eye-catching, unusual design. These are made from 18ct-gold-plated recycled sterling silver. Like Kate’s, they can be bought separately or as a pair.

Princess Kate regularly wears Missoma earrings and these little pearl earrings are a great buy. You can remove the pendant and just wear these as gold hoops, so you could think of it as two pairs for the price of one. These are made from 18ct recycled gold-plated vermeil on recycled sterling silver

For a small, understated pearl pair, try these from Monica Vinader, another of the Princess of Wales’ go-to jewellery brands. They are made from 18-carat gold vermeil and feature mini freshwater pearls. We think these are great for everyday wear if you want to channel Kate’s style in a subtle way.

Astrid & Miyu’s Serenity pearl hoops are a slightly chunkier option, with a larger pearl pendant that some of the others on the list.  They are made from 18-carat gold-plated brass and there is also a silver option.

You may have heard of Astrid & Miyu before, as the London-based jewellery brand is a favourite of Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton.

For another more statement pair, you could try the Nura Reef earrings, also from Monica Vinader. They feature a larger gold hoop than others in this round-up, with a chunkier pearl pendant. Like the other pair from the brand on the list, they are made from 18-carat-gold vermeil on sterling silver.
