Apple has announced when it is expected to announce the newest iPhone and many are speculating on what the new phones will feature.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 range are set to start Friday, Sept. 12 after the new phones were debuted earlier in the week.

The iPhone 17 lineup is headlined by the addition of the iPhone 17 Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus model that served as the company’s second tier phone. The Silicon Valley giant touts it as their slimmest phone offering ever.

The Sept. 9 “Awe Dropping” event saw incremental upgrades across the iPhone range, with Apple stating that all phones would have “all day battery life” and the Air, Pro and Pro Max models utilizing Ceramic Shield 2.

Pre-orders open at 8 a.m. ET (5 a.m. PT) on Friday, Sept. 12 for the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, according to the tech giant. The phones will be available for consumers beginning Friday, Sept. 19.
