Civil engineering and building contractor Farrans Construction is inviting local suppliers to the event as it prepares to start work on AMIDS for Renfrewshire Council in Paisley.

This project will see the construction of a new 93-metre span steel arch bridge, upgrades to 1.7km of road and 550m of new road.

The Meet the Buyer event will take place at the Glynhill Hotel in Renfrew on Wednesday, September 24m providing an opportunity for local suppliers – especially micro-enterprises, SMEs and social enterprises – to discuss contract opportunities.

Farrans is particularly interested in businesses offering services such as CCTV cameras, temporary power, archaeological surveys, invasive species surveys, cleaners and fencing.

As the project progresses, additional opportunities in the supply of concrete and aggregates, piling works, surfacing and concreting will become available.
