‘Wild: The Drone Light Show’ will bring the animal kingdom to life as hundreds of drones light up the sky, mimicking the silhouettes and actions of our favourite animals.

The drone show will come to Edgbaston Stadium, on Edgbaston Road, Birmingham, on November 7 and November 8, with guests also able to enjoy a family-friendly pre-show programme, including a food village and live music.

Following the pre-show event, more than 600 drones will take to the skies as they create vivid depictions of four wildlife worlds – desert, ocean, arctic and jungle – all to the tune of synchronised music.

Dominic Mills, founder of Yuup, who organises large-scale drone shows, said: ” With WILD, we set out to capture the wonder of the natural world and put audiences at the heart of it.

“When we asked our audiences what they most wanted to see in a drone show, the answer was clear: the animal kingdom.

“That inspired a journey across deserts, oceans, arctic worlds and jungles, brought vividly to life in the night sky — from penguins to polar bears.”

Tickets for the event cost £12 per adult, and £7 per child, with the light show portion of the event lasting 40 minutes.

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, September 16, with those wanting to visit able to sign up to a pre-sale waitlist via the Wild Drone Show website
