Spoilers for next week reveal that DI Costello’s involvement in the Becky Swain fake death twist all looks set to come to light as he warns Becky to keep her head down, with them both at risk of prison. Fresh from finding out this week that Becky faked her death, her dumbstruck wife Lisa Swain takes matters into her own hands.
Fired up she head to the police station and demands an audience with boss Costello. He refuses to be drawn though as Lisa wants to have it out over what happened with Becky.
Kit Green warns Lisa’s fiancée Carla Connor about Costello and suggests Lisa needs to be careful, but he’s stunned by her response when she tells him Becky is alive. Soon, Lisa barges into Costello’s office and demands full answers or she will take Becky’s fake death story to the press – but what will he tell her?
Amidst it all, Lisa still hasn’t told her and Becky’s teen daughter Betsy the truth. Carla summons Becky and Becky breaks down and begs Lisa to let her see their daughter.
Carla encourages this but Lisa refuses to have Betsy hurt again, and tells Becky to stay away – with Carla asking her to leave. Later we see her watching Betsy with Ryan Connor, so will she make contact?
Meanwhile Roy Cropper rumbles the truth and admits he’s hurt by Carla lying to him about Becky’s identity, having figured it out for himself. Lisa pleads Carla’s case, revealing they were trying to protect Betsy.

There is a minor update and it could tease a tragic twist for Mack Boyd. A spoiler and a new image reveals Mack remains trapped in the bunker next week, and he considers using the deadly injection left for him by evil John Sugden.
Mack is left hallucinating his wife Charity Dingle, as he injects himself with the syringe which John encouraged him to use “to end his suffering”. A shadow of his former self, a hopeless Mack takes action – but is this the end for the character in a tragic twist?
Of course Mack has no idea that above ground, John has taken revenge by dragging his husband Aaron Dingle off of a cliff, leaving them both fighting for their lives this week. Robert Sugden is framed by his brother, but can Robert prove John’s guilt, and will anyone find Mack?

We start off the week with the Slaters, and understandably, Zoe is still shaken by the shooting. However, the police insist it wasn’t a targeted attack. She feels overwhelmed as the Slaters welcome her home, and attempts to rush out and leave once again.
More tension awaits, as Vicki wastes no time in confronting Zoe about Den, forcing Kathy and Anthony to step in. Still fuming, Vicki follows her to The Albert where the argument continues.
Zoe later joins the Slaters at The Vic but chaos ensues when she learns Freddie and Mo shared details of her ordeal online. A local paper picks up and has written an article about the shooting, which she fears will potentially put her at risk.
It doesn’t stop there however, as she later leaves a message with a face from her past, but who could it be? Is it Max or someone new altogether? We learnt a lot about Zoe’s life last week, but it can be assumed there’s still a lot more to discover in her 20 years away…
It all gets too much for Zoe who attempts to leave, fearing she’s putting everyone in danger, but but Stacey begs her not to. Confiding in her Zoe reveals she thinks she may have killed Greg.
Greg is who we saw in the flashback last week. He’s seemingly the former neighbour of Zoe’s adopted son’s parents. He promised to give information for £5k, but later refused and tried to inappropriately touch Zoe.
She then hit him on the head in self defence, and feared she had left him for dead. She then told Stacey this information, and the two go to stake out his house to find out more. But what will they find?
