Two police cars and an ambulance have been spotted on a Broomhouse street in the capital.
The Saturday, September 13, incident is understood to be ongoing but it is not yet known what lead to the response from Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service.
In images shared with Edinburgh Live, a police car can be seen parked in New Lairdship Place as an ambulance sits at the junction entering the street while another police vehicle is visible on Broomhouse Road.

An eye witness, a mum who did not wish to be named, said Broomhouse is normally quiet at this time of day and ‘she hoped everyone was ok.’
“Broomhouse is normally a really quite place during the day and you don’t normally see an emergency service response like that in a residential street,” she said.

“I really hope everyone is ok, it does make you worry when you see an ambulance with the police.
“We had just been passing by foot when we noticed the vehicles but we don’t know what has happened.”
