Police were alerted to a report of three people having taken ill in the Renfield Lane area shortly after 5.30pm on Saturday, September 13.

Emergency services raced to the scene. Following that, the trio were taken to hospital for treatment.

An investigation is underway.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of three people having taken unwell in the Renfield Lane area of Glasgow around 5.35pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

“Emergency services attended, and three people were taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”

It comes after two people were rushed to hospital after falling unwell on Cresswell Street in the West End on Friday, September 12.
