Emergency services were called to High Road at around 5.40pm on Friday (September 12), after reports of a crash involving a cyclist and a car.

Once at the scene, London Ambulance Service teams treated the cyclist before he was rushed to hospital.

The Met Police has confirmed that he remains in a critical condition today (September 14).

A spokesperson for the Met said: “On Friday, September 12 police were called to High Road at 5.41pm following reports of a road traffic collision involving a cyclist and car.

“Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated the cyclist before taking him to hospital.

“There were no arrests. Enquiries are on-going.”

The road was taped off outside Seven Sisters Tube station after the incident, with a photo shared on social media showing a grey Volkswagen car with a smashed windscreen and a Lime bike on its side inside the cordon.
