A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after an incident in Edinburgh.

Armed cops raced to Raeburn Place in Stockbridge after receiving reports of a disturbance at 4.40pm on Saturday.

Officers attended and another male youth, also aged 15, was rushed to hospital for treatment to head injuries.

His current condition is unknown.

Edinburgh Live reports that “knives” were allegedly discovered at the scene.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Images from the scene showed three armed officers wearing helmets with another three officers in high-vis vests and wearing blue gloves.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40pm on Saturday, 13 September, 2025, officers were called to a report of a disturbance on Raeburn Place, Edinburgh.

“Officers attended and a 15-year-old male was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.

“The male and another 15-year-old male were arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance and enquiries are ongoing.”
