Pitchfork called it “a masterpiece that reinvented post-punk for the rave era” while PopMatters described it as “the Ulysses of modern rock music”.
Happy Mondays will tour the UK in March and April 2026 playing the album’s highlights as well as other hits and fan favourites.

They will perform at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on April 16, 17, and 18.
