Hoarding has gone up at an empty Bullring store heralding the arrival of a store one reviewer called ‘every child’s dream shop’.

Miniso is set to open at the old Scott’s unit, beside Vans on the ground floor of the centre’s East Mall.

It promises to launch on Friday, October 10 at 11am.

There’s already a branch of Miniso in Birmingham, in Grand Central, which one reviewer said was ‘every child’s dream shop’ on Google Reviews.

The Grand Central shop sells blind boxes, plushies, toys, collectibles and more of characters from the world of Sanrio, Lilo and Stitch, Snoopy, and Harry Potter.

The Bullring branch promises to have beauty and food as well as toys, with free goodie bags worth £25 promised for the grand opening.

There’s a QR code up on the hoarding that promises more information but at the time of writing, it was not yet active on the Miniso website.

On its site it does say: “Miniso’s on the way to Bullring – our second Brumy store!

“Get ready to step into a world of joy, packed with Sanrio and Disney delights, squishy plushies, lifestyle must-haves, tasty snacks, and amazing new collabs like Disney Stitch, Minecraft, My Little Pony, Pokémon, and of course Hello Kitty.

“We’re going BIG for our Grand Opening – expect FREE £25 goody bags for the first customers*, exciting entertainment, and a few surprises along the way. Keep an eye on our socials for all our opening updates!

“*T&Cs apply. Goody bags available with a £10+ purchase while stocks last. See in store for details.”

The shop is among a number set to open in the Bullring this autumn, with ProCook, Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works among the new additions.

Alongside an anticipated opening of UniQlo it’ll be a busy season in the shopping centre.
