The new restaurant is preparing to open at the end of this monthThe new restaurant and bar will be at 103 unit on Bold Street
The opening date for a new restaurant and bar landing on one of Liverpool’s busiest streets has been confirmed. House of Caesar is preparing to welcome its first set of guests through its doors on Bold Street at the end of this month.
The venue prides itself on bringing an “authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavour” to what is already a vibrant food scene in the heart of the city. Customers can expect to find a mixed menu of Arabic, Turkish, Syrian and Mediterranean dishes at the 103 unit.
More than £300,000 has been spent already transforming the former Brazilian venue Maracana Sport Bar into the House of Caesar. A spokesperson for the House of Caesar said: “We are getting more and more excited as we get close to the launch.
“Bold Street is already thriving with so many different restaurants and cuisines, and we can’t wait to bring House of Caesar to that mix and add to that.”

Inside the lavish building, which was previously a bank many years ago, statement neon lighting will open up the venue, highlighting the dark painted walls and adding to the spacious feel created by the grand high ceilings.
A golden wooden parquet floor will spread beneath the tables and chairs, and embroidered fabrics and cushions create a comfortable and welcoming vibe, and a sense of the culture that’s influenced it.
Middle Eastern music will add to the atmosphere and ambience, and there will be live bands entertaining restaurant goers at weekends. Food will focus on classic marinated meats, like chicken,l amb, and fish, with lots of rice dishes and salads and freshly-baked breads.
On the menu too will be those favourite Middle Eastern dishes like falafel and fetoosh, shish and kofta kebabs, shawarma and plant-based plates with colourful options like hummus. Some part-time and full-time positions are still available at the House of Caesar. The company confirmed to the ECHO it will be opening officially on Tuesday, September 30.

Brazilian venue Maracana Sport Bar was opened by former footballer Lohan Munhoz de Oliveira. The businessman, who has previously played in the Brazilian top flight, opened the venue initially as a restaurant in 2023, before relaunching a year later as a sports bar.
The dad-of-two, who also had a stint at Bootle FC, said he believed Liverpool was the perfect place to open his bar, thanks to a strong Brazilian influence at Anfield in particular in recent years thanks to now-departed stars including Fabinho and Roberto Firmino, as well as current goalkeeper Alisson.
Despite this, the venture was short-lived, closing this year to make way for what is now going to be House of Caesar.
