Members of the public called the police reporting the convoy on Saturday (September 13)

Officers stopped the Lamborghini and found it already had a warning under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act.

The driver was also driving without insurance, so it was seized.

The other cars in the convoy were given warning notices and will be seized if they are seen being driven in an anti-social manner in the next year.

West Midlands Police traffic officers said on social media: “We received numerous calls from concerned members of the public reporting a convoy of high-performance vehicles driving erratically in Halesowen.

“We intercepted the vehicles and stopped this Lamborghini.

“Checks confirmed the vehicle already had a warning under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act.

“Further checks confirmed there was no insurance in place for the driver of the vehicle.

“Vehicle seized and driver reported.

“The other vehicles have all received a warning under Section 59 PRA.

“Therefore, if sighted driving in an antisocial manner again within the next 12 months, then the vehicle will be seized.”
