Dishoom is marking its 15th anniversary this month with a two-week celebration that will see diners in Glasgow treated to free dishes every day.
From Monday September 15 to Monday September 29, the much-loved Bombay café will reveal a daily giveaway dish on its official Instagram page.
Guests visiting its recently opened Glasgow restaurant will be able to claim the item by asking their server and showing the post. The free dish is available to diners eating in, with one given per table.
Shaun Metcalfe, General Manager at Dishoom Glasgow, said: “Fifteen years feels like such a special milestone, and we want to mark it by giving something back to the guests who’ve helped make Dishoom what it is today.

“Glasgow has welcomed us so warmly since we opened just a few weeks ago, and this is our way of saying thank you, with a little surprise, every day, completely on the house.
“We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who joins us over those fifteen days, and hopefully for many years to come.”
The anniversary celebrations come just weeks after Dishoom launched in the city. Its Glasgow branch opened in late August inside the historic 1877 Stock Exchange building on Nelson Mandela Place.
The venue has quickly drawn attention, continuing the group’s tradition of combining atmospheric interiors with an all-day menu inspired by the Irani cafés of Bombay.
The Glasgow restaurant also offers exclusive dishes not available at other locations.
For breakfast, diners can try the Haggis Pau, Dishoom’s first regional breakfast special, featuring spiced pork haggis in soft buns with crisp Carluke bacon, fried eggs, cream cheese, coriander leaves and honeyed chilli chutney.
At lunch and dinner, the Lamb Chettinad is a highlight: a slow-cooked Tamil Nadu curry with tender lamb, coconut, black pepper, curry leaves and red chillies, served with buttery Malabar Paratha.
Founded in Covent Garden in 2010, Dishoom has grown into one of the country’s most recognisable restaurant brands, with sites in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and now Glasgow.

Its mix of richly styled dining rooms, cult dishes such as black daal and bacon naan rolls, and its focus on storytelling around Indian café culture have helped it become a firm fixture of the UK hospitality scene.
The company is also marking another milestone this month. Dishoom announced it has now donated more than 25 million meals to children living in poverty through its long-standing charity partnerships.
For every meal served in its restaurants, and for every at-home Naan Roll Kit purchased, the business funds a meal for a child who may otherwise go hungry.
In the UK, Dishoom works with Magic Breakfast, which supports schoolchildren who might start the day without food. In India, the group partners with The Akshaya Patra Foundation, which runs one of the largest school meal programmes in the world.
