A warning has been issued after a marquee escaped its moorings in strong winds and became wrapped around a telegraph pole.
The large white tent, with party balloons attached, was blown from a garden in Beeston, Leeds, at about 09:00 BST on Monday, according to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
It followed a Met Office weather warning for strong and gusty winds which were expected to reach up to 50mph (80km/h).
A fire service spokesperson said the incident “was a good example of a timely reminder to make sure outdoor equipment is secure”.
