Because an orange American is in the UK tomorrow, there will be a flypast by the Red Arrows over parts of west London. OK, snark aside, Donald Trump does like a bit of pomp and ceremony, and if a flypast gets us a trade deal, then go for it. Was that less snarky?

So, a flypast on Wednesday 17th September is happening.

The flypast itself is aiming for Windsor Castle, which is likely to be where the smokes will be dropped, but to get to Windsor, the route takes them over parts of west London.

So, it’s unlikely that we’ll see smokes over London, but the Red Arrows flying in formation is still a sight to see (and a sound to hear), so keep an eye and ear out for them.

There’s also a suggestion that the red arrows might be accompanied by some USAF aircraft as well, so maybe a tad more interesting to look out for than usual.

  • 16:20 – West of Martin
  • 16:22 – North of Heckington
  • 16:25 – North west of Armston
  • 16:34 – North of Fen Drayton
  • 16:40 – South of Brayford (I think they mean Bayford)
  • 16:42 – Brent Reservoir
  • 16:43 – Hounslow Heath
  • 16:44 – Heathrow (likely around the south side)
  • 16:45 – Windsor Castle
  • 16:46 – Clewer Village
  • 16:47 – North east of Holmer Green
  • 16:49 – South east of Upper Wincherdon
  • 17:00 – North east of Belvoir
  • 17:03 – RAF Waddington (home)
