The fantasy football season is only two weeks old, and already managers everywhere are acting like Wall Street traders on too much caffeine. That guy you drafted in Round 3? He’s either your new franchise cornerstone or the reason you’ve been Googling “stress management techniques” at 2 a.m. Welcome to Week 3, where patience wears thin, panic buttons get tapped, and savvy managers can swoop in to steal value.
Our Featured Pros have once again sorted through the noise to highlight the best Buy Low and Sell High candidates. Whether you’re looking to turn frustration into profit or unload a ticking time bomb before it goes off, this list is your Week 3 fantasy market cheat sheet.
Week 3 Buy Low
Who is your favorite buy-low trade candidate heading into Week 3 and why? Also, who are you willing to give up for him?
“This is the week to look for that owner who is frustrated because their team is off to a slow start. One reason could be Drake London. He is currently hovering around WR55 in many leagues, which isn’t what owners were expecting when drafting him in the second round. He had 15 targets in Week 1 and only four targets in Week 2 against a stout Vikings defense. Michael Penix Jr. likes the young receiver, and London will bounce back, which makes this the perfect time to buy him at his season-low cost. You can try to acquire him for receivers who are off to a hot start, like Quentin Johnston, Wan’Dale Robinson or Deebo Samuel.”

“With a frustratingly slow start, A.J. Brown is an ideal buy-low candidate. Some fantasy managers might be panicking about the lack of elite productivity, but the Eagles’ offense is too powerful to keep him down for long. He’s still the top target in a high-powered offense, and it’s only a matter of time before he delivers WR1 production. This creates a perfect window to trade for him at a discount, especially with a desperate owner who is sitting at 0-2 and looking to turn their season around. In dynasty leagues, I would focus on recency bias surrounding either Quentin Johnston or Wan’Dale Robinson by packaging them with a future 2026 draft pick to acquire Brown, capitalizing on managers who are in an early-season state of panic.”

Week 3 Sell High
Who is your favorite sell-high candidate after Week 2 and why? Also, who would you try to get in return?
“Deebo Samuel had a classic Deebo Samuel game against the Packers, recording an 82% snap share, seven catches, 44 yards and a touchdown. However, Terry McLaurin is ramping up after his preseason holdout, Jayden Daniels is banged up and Austin Ekeler‘s season-ending injury may force Washington to realize that Bill (Jacory Croskey-Merritt) is, y’know, good. This offense could be messy for a bit, and if I could pry someone like Tetairoa McMillan, Jaxon Smith-Njigba or Mike Evans for Samuel either by himself or in a small package (for Evans), I’ll do that, no problem.”
