Councillors in the North West have said that there is “complete anger” that two clubs failed to receive any NI Football Fund funding in a recent announcement.
Last week, the DUP Communities Minister Gordon Lyons revealed that both Derry City and Institute Football Club had been unsuccessful in their bids to the NI Football Fund, a government programme to invest in Northern Ireland’s football infrastructure.
