A girl has been left “frightened to leave the house” after she was shot with an airgun in a racially aggravated assault, police say.
Avon and Somerset Police said the girl was hit three times by an air gun pellet in an incident in Brentry, Bristol, on 2 September, during which a racial comment was used.
Police said the pellets did not cause any serious physical injury, but she was left “traumatised” by the attack.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses of the assault, which happened at around 13:30 BST in Chakeshill Drive, to come forward. They also want to speak to anyone who has dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage of the incident, or the moments leading up to it immediately afterwards.
