Police want to speak to this man in connection with a serious assault on Clerk Street, Edinburgh.
Police have released a photo of a man they believe can help with an investigation into a serious assault in Edinburgh.
The attack happened at around 10.45pm on Tuesday, August 12, on Clerk Street.
The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, and of a slim build. In the image, he is wearing a white collared T-shirt and carrying a black Fox Racing rucksack.

Detective Sergeant Mark Richmond said: “We would encourage this man, anyone who may recognise him, or anyone with information about this incident to get in touch.”
