We all know the Superstar is one of the best sneakers ever made. Even with its Run DMC stories, basketball legacy, and history of countless collabs, the shell toe has always run a bit under the radar on the hype shoe spectrum. This year, though, adidas has been quietly turning out some beautifully premium Superstars under the brand’s Made in Germany label.

adidas Superstar Made in Germany Snakeskin
The latest adidas Superstar Made in Germany is a black, white, and cream snakeskin colorway dripping in luxury. The upper is constructed entirely of black snakeskin print leather, with classic white leather on the Three Stripes and the heel counter. Cream rubber is found on the midsole and shell toe. An adidas Superstar logo is printed in gold above the lateral side Three Stripes, and to give the shoe an even more luxurious feel, the snakeskin tongue is left completely blank, with no tag or logos.
So far this year, adidas has kept the Made in Germany Superstar a classy endeavor, even in collaborations. For inline releases, we’ve seen premium versions in two different black and white makeups, plus a white, blue, and red leather colorway. On the collab side, JJJJound kept things simple (surprise, surprise) in a black and white two pack, and Ronnie Fieg put together his own tuxedo-ready black Kith pair with, you guessed it, white stripes. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
The adidas Superstar Made in Germany Snakeskin will be released September 22, 2025 through adidas and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $250.
