Managerial pressure is high amongst a number of Premier League clubs, including Leeds United’s rivals West Ham and Graham Potter.

Up next for Leeds is a massive clash against a relegation rival in Vitor Pereira’s Wolves, who are yet to collect a single point this season.

For both sides, a win is vital to establish survival credentials this season, while there is pressure mounting elsewhere too.

West Ham considering sacking Graham Potter with Slaven Bilic eyed as replacement

It comes as no shock to hear that Graham Potter is under serious mounting pressure at West Ham. Having struggled since taking over from Julen Lopetegui last season, Potter’s start to the campaign in East London has been poor.

The Hammers have won win from four games, surprisingly coming away to Nottingham Forest, losing the other three, their three defeats being drubbings at the hands of Sunderland, Chelsea and Spurs.

Now, talkSPORT’s Alex Crook reports that West Ham are now considering Potter’s position with Slaven Bilic eyed as a shock possible replacement.

Bilic of course previously managed the Hammers between 2015-17, overseeing their transition to the London Stadium with a solid 34.5% win rate, sixth-highest of any Irons boss in the Premier League.

Since leaving West Ham in 2017, Bilic has had five separate and contrasting jobs: Al-Ittihad, West Brom, Beijing Guoan, Watford, and Al-Fateh. He’s been out of work since August 2024.

Are West Ham getting sucked into a relegation battle?

When Leeds camr into the Premier League, we had to view who’d be the sides we’d need to finish above to stay up.

Beyond our newly-promoted counterparts, you’d point to West Ham as a team in trouble. Potter has had a nightmare there.

A sacking soon would not be surprising, but to bring back Bilic would certainly be interesting after his struggles in the league previously with West Brom when returning.
