A man and teenager were found injured inside a house following a “disturbance”. Merseyside Police were called to Birch Close in Prescot at around 7.25am on Friday, September 19.
When officers arrived at the property they found a man with injuries. A teenage boy was found with a small puncture wound to the hand, believed to have been from a dog at the address. He has been taken to hospital for assessment, police said.
A 42-year-old woman from Prescot was arrested on suspicion of section 47 assault and having a dog dangerously out of control. A dog has been removed from the address and enquiries are ongoing.
