Liverpool has an incredible selection of delicious restaurants serving mouthwatering Sunday roasts. From cheap and affordable options to veggie alternatives and kids’ portions, there’s something for everyone.
There’s no better way to end the week than enjoying a filling roast dinner with all the trimmings. If you don’t fancy cooking one up yourself, there are plenty of great restaurants and pubs in Liverpool where you can tuck into a delicious roast.
With so many options to choose from, we’ve compiled a list of the best places to go for a roast dinner in Liverpool city centre. Below you’ll find 14 of our favourite roasts you need to try this Sunday.

Albert’s Schloss
The Bold Street venue serves up its Sunday Service each week, perfect for ending the week in style. Enjoy a decadent Sunday menu accompanied with live entertainment and music.
All roast dinners are served with an accompaniment of roast potatoes, root vegetable mash, seasonal greens and lashings of gravy. Choose from roast chicken, Caraway roasted pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe), dry-aged rump of beef or a butternut squash spinach en croute. Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill
Enjoy a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill. Two courses are priced at £24.95 and three courses are available for £29.95. Choose from roast loin or pork, roast chicken breast or roast sirloin of beef. The roast dinners come with all the trimmings.

Papillon
Located on Hope Street, Papillon has a varied menu of brunch, lunch and dinner options to choose from. The restaurant serves up Sunday options including roast beef topside, roast chicken supreme served, pork belly or a gluten free vegan pie. NORD
NORD, located on Old Hall Street, has a Sunday lunch menu from 1pm until 6pm with two courses for £38 or three courses for £45. The main course menu features roasted pork belly, grilled chicken, monkfish and peppercorn sauce and baked cauliflower served with a variety of classic roast sides, such as roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Ten Streets Social
Ten Streets Social on Regent Road offers a special Sunday Service, where diners can enjoy a roast dinner accompanied by live music from local performers.
Roast dinners are priced at £17.50 each and include a choice of roasted lamb served pink (plus £3), topside beef, chicken supreme or vegan minted jackfruit pie. The roasts are served with rosemary and thyme roasted potatoes, carrot and swede, savoy cabbage, cauliflower cheese, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding.
Fish and chips, oven roasted salmon and wild mushroom and pesto linguini are available if you don’t fancy a roast.

Albert’s Schenke
Albert’s Schenke’s glorious Sunday menu is ideal for those looking to enjoy a roast dinner. Tuck into a ‘haus roast’ and a drink around a roaring fire pit while enjoying live music.
Two courses are priced at £23, with three courses available for £28. Choose from topside Lancashire beef, Bavarian pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe), roast Cheshire chicken or wild mushroom wellington. Wreck Bistro
Located on Seel Street, Wreckfish Bistro serves up a varied Sunday lunch menu. You can enjoy two courses for £39, or three courses for £44. Main courses include roast beef, roast squash and king oyster mushrooms, confit duck leg, charred sea bass and for two people, the 35-day-aged sirloin of beef to share (plus £15). Gaucho
Cosy up and treat yourself to the best quality beef, choosing from three different joints of perfectly roasted meats. The roast sirloin of beef is served with roast potatoes and bottomless Yorkshire puddings, accompanied with seasonal vegetables, served with a red wine gravy. Vegan and children’s options are available.

Hawksmoor
The restaurant, located inside the historic India buildings, has a delicious Sunday menu. The main offering is a slow roast rump is served with beef-dripping roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, roasted carrots, buttered greens, roasted garlic, bone marrow gravy.
The Sunday Feasting, which is available for two people or more, allows guests to choose any of the restaurant’s blackboard sharing cuts and add the trimmings. Cuts most suitable for a Sunday-style feast are Prime Rib and Chateaubriand.

Hanover Street Social
Hanover Street Social is a large brasserie and busy bar in the centre of Liverpool. On Sundays, Hanover Street Social serves two courses for £27.95 or three courses for £33.95. Options include roast topside of beef, marmalade and honey roasted gammon, roasted chicken breast, slow roasted pulled lamb shoulder and chestnut & seed roast.
